What is a blog? A blog is the combination of web (as in the World Wide Web) and log which is kind of like a diary or a place to collect thoughts and ideas. The advantages of blogs is that they are more dynamic than writing in a paper diary or notebook. You can add multimedia to your writing by including links, pictures, videos, maps, and animation. This helps you communicate with more than just words and text. We will be using blogs as a way to communicate your thoughts and ideas on various topics throughout the semester.
I hope you enjoy writing and reading blogs in English this semester. I know that I will enjoy reading your blogs and learning more about each of you!
